ant and me have already arranged to have a dedication-to-dunearnbowling blog entry today.but since she's not online and have not started on one, i shall start the ball rolling. :)
alright.actually the reason why we've decided to do this tribute/dedication thing is cus we're stepping down (VERY VERY VERY SOON) and we kinda feel (VERY VERY VERY) sad about it. *shrugs* but i guess, some things, you just gotta let go.some things dear to you, let it go though. but keep the past of it close to your heart. :)
okay, enough of my crap.

from what we realised, we dont seem to take training seriously until the start of this year. (or maybe since the end of last year)
yea.we've wasted about 3years of our time in dunearnbowling fooling around and not getting serious about bowling itself, but only about attending trainings just for that 75% attendance thingo. and having fun.
sure, we have fun at most of the trainings. bowling away. giggling, sharing jokes, doing silly stuff on the lanes. watching other teammates bowl.
somehow outta all these, we missed out doing the most important thing about training. which is to train. we goof the time away, thinking that we have all the time in the whole 4years, to do whatever we need/have to do. and this is when the phrase 'time flies' come in.
yea. sec1s to 3s. pleasepleaseplease treasure your training times ya? make use of em well.please do set targets for yourself, achieve them and feel good. and then set higher targets for the next training. why waste the time away like what we've once did?
i just realised its dumb.somehow i think we could've remake-d dunearn history. how we've beaten acs(i) and many other top schools in bowling. and when we started changing coaches, [i think i had about 7coaches or something? (uncle rick, uncle daniel, uncle francis, uncle joseph, uncle james, etc)] things slackened. different coaches had different styles and expectations for us. but what i can say is, uncle jason [our current coach] ,who has been with us previously before he left and joined us back again, is the best of the best of the best of the best coach in the whole world. :)
why?
he just rocks okay. thanks to him, i began to realise my mistakes, have a stronger mentality (NOT THAT STRONG BUT AT LEAST STRONGER THAN BEFORE RIGHT -.-) etc.. he encourages me telling me 'its okay, still okay' when i think ive smashed his hope. his (only?) hope? *HUGE SHRUG*
i wonder..

encouraging me, doing all he can do as a great coach. not one that boasted around, bosses around and stuff. hes just one great great great coach.
i really really truly, seriously, wholeheartedly, hope that one day, dunearn will emerge stronger like in the past, repay uncle jason what hes deserved for putting so much thought, time and effort into our team. 3cheers for uncle jason!
i will never.. never, forget you. :)


alright, somehow silly doing that. but who cares? getting kinda emotional uh.
coach's gonna do the de-brief next tuesday at training. man, i bet im gonna cry or something.


rock on dunearn bowling! you guys can do it if you have faith in yourself, the coaches, the lanes and the pins. dunearn's counting on you.
please have faith, dont waste your (bloody) time and kick ass people!
i feel sad that my life in bowling is gonna come into a stop (or rather, a pause if im going into A division bowling). never will i be able to forget the life i have in it. the camps we've enjoyed. the seniors and teammates we've joked with, played with, bowled with, etc.
the deck on my table is so empty, unlike my sister's, which is filled with trophies.but this year, on the annual tournament, i SWEAR im gonna do what i do is right to repay coach but getting a (fake) trophy to place it on my table. the only trophy that im gonna have. during this meaningful year.
i cant bear to leave... but heck man, i HAVE to.


what a great year its gonna be. a hella great one.
